monitor calibration and color profile

heey all!
I calibrated my monitor for a bit but i'm not all that sure if it's how it supposed to be.
It's funny, all the photo's look different now.
But if i compare the colors to the printed pictures, it's still not a good match.
I used Adobe Gamma to calibrate the monitor. I heard it's not the best program for it. For now it's on the RGB 1998 adobe color profile.
If you have any tips at all, i would surely like to hear them!

Ik dacht, ik voeg je ff toe op Deviantart. zag op DPZ dat je er ook een had. Doe er alleen al echt heel lang niets meer mee en qua inhoudelijke foto's staat er vrij weinig interessants op.
